Hey there! We'd like to welcome you to our new blog, The Caffeinated Reader. The way we see it, you must be here for one of four reasons. One, you know how to appreciate a good cup of coffee. Two, you're always looking for an exciting new read. Three, as a member of the FM community, you want to know more about this new business coming to downtown Fargo. Four, you're very, very lost (it's okay, that's how we feel before we've had our morning caffeine). However you found us, we're so happy you're here!
As a new small business in the Fargo-Moorhead area, we can't wait to become a part of the local community and get to know our FM neighbors (that means you!). That said, there are a few things we'd like you to know about us too. The Coffee Genre is Fargo-Moorhead's first locally owned coffee and book store. Founded and run by people whose mornings wouldn't be right without a little caffeine and a good read, we're excited to share our passion for lattes and literature with others. As our business continues to grow, we look forward to pursuing our goal to create a comfortable, all-day study space for students, offer high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages, and encourage people to explore new books—especially those by local authors!

At this point, you might be wondering, "What's with the blog?" As we mentioned before, we're super excited to engage with our local community! Through our blog, we hope to build meaningful relationships with community members and share information that they'll find useful, interesting, and fun to read. Topics will include everything from the best drink and book duos to interviews with local authors about their latest releases. While you wait for our next blog post (oh, the anticipation!), feel free to check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts for regular updates on The Coffee Genre.
Thanks so much for reading The Caffeinated Reader! Check back every Tuesday and every other Saturday for exciting new content on all things coffee and books.
